what wax will u be treating your ZL-1 with
just curious , especially from other florida owners as its love bug season down here. i may have to wax my car right away at the dealer before i drive it back because i have about 50 miles of the worst love bug zones to drive through and it will be at full kill by my delivery day next week. i was thinking turtle wax ice or maybe zymol water based wax. i usually use the mcquires but when i ran out last time i decided to use something less white.

Zaino. I've been using this stuff for years with excellent results.

I use nothing but Ice products ... Just did the wife's car yesterday, preping it for trade in ... I have been a Turtle Wax fan since the 60's, and in my book if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I'm in the City of Seminole, it's in Pinellas County. As far as the love bugs, they come off rather easy with soap and water. I use the liquid wax every couple months and finish off every wash with the detail spray. Both my cars are kept outside 24/7 and the finish on them is like butter. The only time we really deal with heavy bugs is when making a trip to Ocala every couple months.
