Vin50, 57 and other LA cars delivered today to dealers.

Great communication the VIN 50 57 and others came today! GM customer service said this morning they did not know when they ship but would be soon. Well that's soon but maybe they should be told they are at the dealer! Also driver said the wide track tires is why no rail car! Not that they did not want them damaged.

Front track width not the wheelbase was probably the issue as all the other Camaro's have the same wheelbase back to front.

Z28 was a much wider front width.

Right from the trucker, he said they were to wide to go on rail car. Maybe the tires?
I am sorry I said wheel base, that's not it. It was the width.

Yes, the track of car was to wide. I guess no wide track Pontiac rail cars around. Lol

It would have been a good idea to just put the low cost skinny spare tires for shipping and put the other wheels and tires in trunk and back seat, that may save money on shipping.

I can see it now, rail at stand still, 57 cars with broken window's and trunks, for rimes and tires, have a friend that works for the RR and they have brake-ins all the time.

Yes we see them pass not far from here all the time, but there are bandits and they will brake in to moving train's all the time.

Look we all know its been a long time on the delivery of the Z/28 and soon we can have a good time making jokes on the ordeal, but we are not GM and dont know why it takes this long but it does, from one Z/28 owner to a fallow owner injoy the car and hope to meet up soon.

I'd cry if I saw your car with mounted tires in the rear seat. To beautiful

Shipping wheels and tires loose?! Some might actually make it to their intended destinations.

5% might actually make it to their intended destinations and that is a high number IMO.
