Awesome!! Thanks for the pics!! I can't wait to see one at the Houston show in Jan 09!!

Man that trunk opening is small, small, small!! LOL!! Eh...not like I am going to try and stuff a Plasma screen in there!

Love the color too :-) I take it the V6/RS we see here has a different suspension on it? It sits a little taller it seems to me....more wheel gap?

You're correct, just the flash.

I think what you are seeing is the reflection of some of the inner parts of the speaker through the grill. Doesn't look like anything written on there to me.

It does look like it is sitting a little higher than some of the other RS ones I have seen. Who knows though. That is another problem with having a bunch of pre-production cars running around. We won't really know for sure until we start seeing the production cars.

Very nice quality pics, thank you.

This car is crazy good looking.

Personally, I LOVE the I.P. speedo / tach binacles.

Give me some fun!

Great pics. On a side note, this is the first time I really noticed the differece in ride height between the FE2 and the FE3 suspension... the V6 is in the nose bleed section!

I couldn't get anyone to open the hood when I was there.
Even when I called him out for telling someone that it had a 6.2 liter in it.

I HATE IT THAT IT IS F**KING ROPED OFF!! Doesn't GM realize that people would like to sit in it and check it out before they buy it!! I know you can do that at the dealership, but COME ON! It wasn't even at the 2008 NAIAS and now since it will be there IT'S GOING TO BE F**KING ROPED OFF!! Why is that?!?!?!?!?!?

Have you actually read this freaking thread???!!!!! Look at the posts above regarding pre-production materials. Then delete your post so you don't feel dumb.

Yep. It's been discussed a few times, but I'm happy to remind anyone here.

What you see on stage is NOT a finished product. Some have been painted a few times, have parts put in that are not finished, some stuff does not work like it should, the finish on the doors are sprayed on, etc. (ie: looks good, but really isn't cause it's not a finished product).

SO...

When you get in the floor model at the auto show and a knob falls off or the lights don't all come on, YOU say "no big deal...it's only a pre-production - slapped together - run around the country so as many people as possible can see it show car."

HOWEVER...

The person that does NOT know better gets in, something breaks or does not work (or the finish comes off the door) and they say, "Oh my...I can't believe this part broke in this new car. OH MY...I can't believe this light does not work! OH MY GOODNESS!!!...I can't believe the finish came off this door!!!...Well, I'll be! If this car is going to fall apart...and this is what they want everyone to see, I'll NEVER buy a Camaro! What POOR quality!"

Now...do you understand why they don't let people sit in them?

Scott has already told us that after the new year, PRODUCTION ready models WILL be at auto shows for us to see, touch, and sit in. There will be plenty of time for us to check them out and sit in them before buying.

Really nice pics. I plan on buying a 2SS a little later, but looking at the V6 is making me reconsider if I should buy an SS. Damn, well by the time i make my purchase, I'll know what i want.

^^^^^ OH and TAG, good reminder. A friendly reminder does not hurt
