GM Bushing Change

Does anyone know when GM made the slight change to the more "filled" subframe bushes? I know someone had said January 2011 builds looked like they had the new filled in bushes but I wanted to know if that's the earliest that's been reported.

I read in a forum last week that changes were made after October 2010. Minor suspension changes.

So if my car was built late 2010 and is a 2011 model year it'll have the updated bushings?

Mine didn't. Easiest way to tell is if your strut towers have the brace holes in them. If they don't then you have the early bushings.

That's a great observation. If this is a proven method to knowing, it's a great way to be able to tell what bushings you have. I believe I have the pre-drilled holes so hopefully I can confirm that this method at least works for me.

Interesting. I checked my car and I do have the pre drilled holes. I guess I can't find out what bushings I have until I replace them
