Which options to choose?

I'm planning on either getting a

Ls 1. automatic transmission and 2. stripes
or

Lt1 with 1. automatic transmission 2. rs package 3. stripes

Is it worth spending that extra money getting a rs package?
I really like the looks of the halo lights but i read on some other thread its not possible to use them during the day.
I'm trying to keep the money I'm spending on the car low.

NO its cheaper to just add halos to existing headlights and they are brighter plus you can wire them to come one when YOU want them to look up AAC lighting

U can get the LS nd add the halos on frm aacstyle.com nd hook it up to a switch that way u can control it, nd u wuld b savin a mess load of money, bcuz if u really dnt care for the spoiler and midnight rims, then spend the hundred and some odd dollars for the aftermarket halos nd labor, and save a thousand

Jimmy, the BEST thing to do is get the RS package. You get a lot MORE than the lights, both front and back, .....the better sound system, the 20" wheels (with that, the limiter is set higher), the USB conectivity package.........its a NO BRAINER. JUST DO IT! YOU will not regret it.

The RS package has NOTHING to do with the sound system or the connectivety, those r two dif packages... The rs is the head and tail lights, spoiler, and wheels...i dunno if sir nuke is thinkin of the LT over the Ls, bcuz u cant add the connectivity and premium sound to the LS...and to answer ur question, no it wnt void ur warranty

ok, yeah i just saw a thread about how to add the halo lights and it looks a bit scary taking the headlights out and putting them in the oven and taking the front glass part off to replace the lights.

How much would a replacement headlight be if i mess it up?

U mite have to ask ur dealer, i dunno tht price...i'd have a professional do it, tht way if they mess up, its their fault(not to say u couldnt do it, jst so u wouldnt have to come out of pocket more) but if u go to oraclelights.com or oraclelighting.com u can do a search and they have shops that sell and install halo lights, u jst put in ur zip code nd find the closest to u

well, i just made a thread discussing if i should give up the RS package so my LT wont be on Constraint (i ordered in ABM) which we all no is gone in a few days. the first to responders said to get the RS and drop color, but they werent ABM drivers so i can see why they would say so.

Just get the RS, nothing looks as good as the stock halo's and the more you try to tinker with them on your own, the more likely you are to mess something up, and the wiring for the switch could void your warranty. Plus you get the HID headlights with the halo's in the RS package. Point is, if the extra thousand and change is that big of a deal financially, are you sure you should even be getting the car?

Plus you could sub the RS for the automatic and go with the M6. Then you would be even pretty much.
