Anyone traveling in their Camaro this week for Thanksgiving?

I am going on a semi road trip (3 hours) from Daytona Beach, FL to Coral Springs, FL. to see the family. I am excited about going but not looking forward to the bugs I might encounter lol...

Anyone else taking their Camaro on a trip for Thanksgiving?

Might not be so bad. The last two nights I haven't left work till 9pm and to my luck haven't seen a bug hit my windshield yet. I think this little cold snap we have right now is helping!

With plenty of miles between the destination and the border! Then make the 550 mile trip back next weekend. (Only to go back again in 3 weeks )

Hi Guys,

First I would like to say as a new member Happy Thanksgiving to all the members of this awesome site. I recently purchased my 12 SS L99, if it wasn't for reading all the great post on this site I would have most likely picked a CAT back and CAI that I would not be happy with. Because of the great feed back I extremely happy with my choices.
Yesterday I stopped by my dealership, they had the ZL-1 on display - just came in. The GM asked me if I ever heard it run, I said no. He went and got the keys, wanted me to drive and I said no "Yeah, dumb I know", he gave the keys to a younger sales rep and said take him for a ride. Wow, I've ridden in some fast cars, but this thing is absolutely nuts. I still have a smile. I'm happy with the performance I have, even with the 400 + hp I'm looking at future tickets.

I'm taking a trip to Daytona, should be a great time. All the best

Regards
Triple T

Nope. Staying home this year. Husband is stuck on 24 hour staff duty tonight. Gonna be a day full of him sleeping and me playing video games with a couple of steaks for dinner.

Going to take the Camaro up to Moms house in Central Illinois tomorrow morning. 2.5 hr drive. Weather looks pretty good. Maybe a little rain. I remember years past where there was snow at Thanksgiving. I will probably hit a few bugs on this trip. All of you Camaro5 members have a great and happy Thanksgiving.

I am purposely not taking the Camaro anywhere Thanksgiving. We are bringing too many spillable, messy things to Grandma's house.

We are taking our chilli, cream pies, and yams, in the SUV.
