New plate, ugly diffuser

Just got my new plates in today. For some reason I'm not happy with the back, what's your take?

Paint the diffuser body color?
Paint the diffuser satin black?
Paint the diffuser a combination of satin black and body color?
Reinstall black bowtie on trunk?

I like the new plate and I agree... a black bowtie might make it all come together. Its worth it to check it out anyway.

Its the big white star on the left, makes the plate look off center.
Personally Op, I still think it looks pretty good

Personally I like the Z28 difuser the best on the re-style of the Camaro. Painted body color for all but the center lower section. Bowtie or no bowtie...either is good with me.

I am not digging the black "SS" emblem. I would either remove it, or go back to a stock look.
Besides that, I think it looks great the way it is. Definitely NO to the bowtie no matter what color you go with!

I've seen a few with the rear bumper/diffuser completely painted. Makes a WORLD of a difference. Can't believe GM thought it was a good idea to make half the bumper black, they missed the mark on that IMO.
Or at least maybe paint to the top of the exhaust opening and follow that line straight across.

Paint the diffuser black. Also try and find a black license plate frame that completely covers that half $$$$$ black plate texas made. I still haven't figured out the point they were trying to make when they designed a black plate at the DMV and left a white trim around it.
