Good luck on your hunt, perhaps I will sell mine after the new style comes out...waiting to see if I like how they look. I love my Inferno Orange 1LE, but if I like the styling of the new one, an LT1 1LE that should weigh a bit less would be a riot too!

The cars would be even more rare if dealers didn't order a bunch and sell them to people who have no clue what a 1le is. I walked up to a guy in a parking lot, driving one. I said nice 1le! Dude was clueless to his own car and had no idea what I was talking about.

In fact, My dealer didn't even carry or know about them until I placed my order! Now they've sold about 8 of them! I'm sure to people who have no clue.

I will be really curious as to what the 2015 Bright Yellow 1LE's production numbers are considering the Bright Yellow is a $395 option.

I bet they are pretty low...

I thought they were rare until a new co-worker started work and he had '13 black 1LE, on my way home from work I ran into a young kid with a red 1LE. I know of 2 others that are local. It would be neat to see a US map to see where they were all purchased from. Even though they been in magazines, I think a lot of people its sorta in the know thing. Its a smoking deal, your getting a ZL1 for less, minus fancy shocks and a blower. But since the 1LE package is a designation in the VIN it shows its unique compared to a regular SS camaro.

BVM is a standard color for 2015 with no extra cost. Only Yellow and Crystal Red Tintcoat are 395.00 extra.

I know that the Crystal Red is a multi-stage paint process which is naturally more costly to produce but not sure why the yellow is extra.
