Don't let your battery go dead.

I ran into a problem with a coworkers 2011 1lt but im guessing it will be with all Gen5 Camaros. He had installed an amp and a couple subs. He installed it wrong and caused the battery to go dead. With the dead battery he could not unlock his doors with his remote or the key. He had to jack his car up to get access to his alternator to get battery cables on to get enough power to get his doors unlocked and get and access to get his battery charged. Just thought i would share this problem.

What have we learned? RTFM BEFORE you lock it in your car.

Open door with key, pop hood, charge from jumps points insided the engine bay. Seems pretty easy to me.

Hopefully the co-worker never gets a convertible. If he ever locks himself out with the top down, and it starts to rain, he'll be screwed.
