Cool Video. Thanks for posting. I think he must be one of the few with large enough feet to think the pedals are "perfectly" spaced for heel/toe though! I know they were too far apart for me and I've seen several people in the Z/28 forum make posts that also have difficulties with the pedals for heel/toe from the factory.

I bought racing pedals because my feet are too small.

IMHO this is the best overall Camaro ,hits all the right points for a very fair price. Just 50 more RWHP and better brakes and it would be superb .

Nice video visually but don't care for that guy. Love my 1LE but don't see how anybody with the means would pick a 1LE over a Z/28. Is it the best daily driving Camaro? Even that is up for discussion but no way is it the best Camaro period. Let's be real.

Nice find.

He didn't mention that the electronic steering firms up even more when you select comp mode or all nannies off, so I will.

Chevrolet not using DOT 4 brake fluid out of the box, is my one and only gripe about the brakes, given this price point and what this car is meant to execute.

Other then that, great review, this car certainly hits all of my buttons to great effect at this price point .

The "feel good factor" with this car after you sign your 45 grand away is definitely part of the overall experience here.

The Z28 is double that price give or take.
Is it really double the fun and double the performance? No it's not.

Is the Z28 the best Camaro? It probably is, but......

Is the 1LE the coolest? IMHO, in light of everything, even if subjective, I'll say yes!

A very fair and accurate review. I agree with what he says, maybe not for everyone but I wouldn't change what I have !!

Except a few top brands, DOT3 fluid lasts much longer than DOT4, which makes it perfect for a car used at the street 99.9% of the time on average. For those who use it at the road course track, the high temp fluid costs only $20-30, so it's not too costy, and GM also recommends this change in the manual for competition use.

In short, there is a reason, and don't think GM is short changing you, at least on this one

Doesn't the DOT 3 still have to be replaced every 2 years regardless, per owners manual even???

Every single sports euro car I have owned since 1987, had DOT 4, which is 2 year interval as well.

Just sayin, the 1LE was meant for the weekend track dude .
