I just called my Chevy dealer and asked it they were up to speed about the ordering on Monday. He told me that they had a meeting about me yesterday and they agreed that I deserve the #1 spot on the order list! I have been bugging them for so long they said no one else deserved it. This is awesome! Monday is going to be the best day ever!

don't want to burst your bubble but just because you are first on the order list does not mean you will have the first Camaro to come in... I was 3rd on the list to order a Sky at my dealership but mine was the first to actually arrive there... It depends on what the production schedule is and what options you order...(I was lucky I got some insider info and found out what the first cars that were going to be produced were and ordered mine that way) I know some on the Sky Forum that were first on the list but because they ordered some options that were not available at start of production they got their cars later than others did.
I just don't want to see you get upset with GM or the dealer because your car, even though you were the first to order does not come in first... they cannot promise you will have the first one because they don't even know what will be the first to be produced.

Anyway it does mean you will get one faster than most will...

Congratulations... I am sure it will be worth the wait just like it was for me and my first Sky.

I’m “Numero Ono” at my dealer as well… :party0048: Actually I am the only one on the list as of right now. I got the call yesterday that my dealer received all the information and to come on down Monday so we can get me the first one in town. I am so excited about this you would not believe… Wait, I’m sure many of you can believe…

Nice i got to call my dealer on my lunch break and check to see how many they are getting i know im first. I put my order in last night for him to shoot it out monday morning.

#1 at mine too............been on it since Aug 11 2006........after hearing their allocation today, I'm glad I am too. They're getting (7) in the first round.

I'm #2, but I just got word from Camaro Scotty that his allocation was way under his estimates.

Surely, my dealer will be getting at least two!

I plan on getting out of my Cobalt lease using the GM "Pull Ahead" program, 6 months early with no penalty. That means I can get my Camaro in July.

Does anyone see any reason why I would have any reason to "order" a car prior to then? I assume the V6 LS Camaro should be produced in pretty good numbers by then.
