No need to do that . . . I'll keep it safe, I promise. I shall gaurd it with my life! There is no way that its information would get to other manufacturers. I'll even sign my life away if you wish. It would probably be my most prized possesion. But if you must destroy that disk, thats fine. Just make a copy first and send that to me . . . persistant aren't I?

Same goes with the prototype vehicles. GM can't sell them because of liability, or even give them away. But when you are done with them, and just happened to leave them unlocked, with the keys in, your problems would go away pretty quick.

In the event that the front vent isn't functional on the production Camaro...I'm hoping that it will at least LOOK like it's open...possibly with mesh or some sort of screen (like on 4th Gen SS hoods, even though those are functional). I think about the current mustangs GT (not Mach, Parnelli Jones, or other specialty versions)...in cluding the style before the 05-07...when hood scoops are put on those...they are BLATANTLY non-functional...

It is the indention on the car's roof. It is the reverse of a mohawk in that it goes down instead of sticking up.

I answered this in another thread. I am quite proud of my drawing so I thought I would share. Quoting it changes the layout so I linked the post.

It looks kinda like a mohawk but goes down instead of up, therefore: reverse mohawk.

For all those worried about looking functional...like me. Take a look at the Z06...and the G8. I'm not worried.

^then GM is really good at this fake vent thing. i could have swore the scoops on the G8 were functional. well if they can fool me (and appently others) on that, then i feel pretty confident that the camaro's scoop will look real (even if it's not)

I just can't wait to get the car in my driveway!! Good find! and keep up with the debate! Are we sure it's autozone headlights? What if they were advance auto? or pep boys?

Looking at a couple Z06s I thought they functioned, but didn't do anything. What I mean is, there is a rea hole there, however it doesn't feed the air cleaner or anything like that.

I'm not much of a fan of nonfunctional scoops, but as long as they are tasteful and have some sort of design purpose, I'm down.

yea i dont see the reason for not haven a non functional scoop. like the front on the z06 i thought that was there to keep the engine cooled down, and the vents at the side ment to keep the rear tires cooled. i have a feeling that those scoops do work for sumthin other than looks.
