GOOD LUCK Darkness.................personally I just don't see you getting that low in the 60' or the 1/4 mile. I know you think so, but after reading these forums for over the past 2 years and watching everything to do with the 1/4 mile, I really don't see that happening with your set-up. I hope the best for you thou. PLEASE prove me wrong and then you will need to tell us how you did it. Quote:
WHAT...........Negative DA that far south. That is AWESOME. We can all thank global warming for this one.......

Track prep at our little track is pretty hit n miss with a lot of miss. Maybe someday I'll run it at a big track but for now I'm content and have run at worse.
He's on the stock 20' pirellis.
The capabilities of a modern V6 is amazing. You can pull 30MPG, mid/low 14s in the 1/4 mile in a somewhat heavy platform, solid reliability, ect. A set of gears, a good 60ft. time, and some driving skill and 13's are a sure thing. A nice alternative to a V8 unlike in the past when any V6 version of a ponycar was a boat anchor at best.
I agree. If you would have told me 30 years ago when I was hot rodding the big V8's, that one day I would be driving a V6 with 323 hp I would have laughed my ass off. (Not to mention driving a car that looks as good as my Camaro)

Like usa1 said it's stock 20' pirellis with little tread left. I think I'm going to pick up the tires you had on your scrming.

Cool... and even if you only spin one wheel, i would still do a good burnout to heat it up... and then once you pull forward a bit, to a bit of a brake torquing to spin a bit to clean them off...

I think the stock tires are made of two different compounds - I noticed on mine when I got near the tread wear indicator the traction was non existent.
