Possibly Rough idle cam, possibly bite the bullet and have it installed.

JRE 75 to 125 upgrade. Just waiting for a sale and didn't think 10% good Friday was enough. Hint, hint....

Couple mods to be done in 2 weeks by Starkweather Performance. BTR Stage 3 cam, valve springs, 160 thermostat, injectors, balancer, Kooks 1 7/8 long tube headers with high flow cats, Lingenfelter CAI, 2.55 upper pulley, solid SC isolator, lower pulley and a larger coolant reservoir. Lower pulley size will be determined as it is being tuned on the dyno. Hoping for a reliable 650 RWHP on pump gas. I don't race the car, Just spirited driving. It is my daily driver.

If you do a lower in addition to the 2.5 upper, the coolant reservoir may not be enough. I would suggest a Ron Davis Heat Exchanger just to keep things nice and cool. Is yours and auto?

Going to do a BTR stage 3 cam and a 2.4 upper before Spring. Pretty stoked

I've got my LS9 cam, PAC 1218 Valve Springs, injectors, and 2.5 upper just lying in wait until spring.... pretty stoked to get these all installed. Should see a solid 640rwhp.
My Car is a manual. I didn't think i would need a heat exchanger since i don't race the car. Maybe something I should look into.

Something to consider as added insurance. If not, the Rotofab has a good line of cooling products that I highly recommend.

I've been thinking long and hard about pulling the heads and getting them reworked with some lighter valves installed. I just don't get any warm fuzzies about pulling to the rev limiter several times per lap with the heavy-ass factory valves trying to beat the crap out of the other valvetrain parts.

I am at PRI, give me a call next week and we can talk about your options.

Thanks for your business.
