Anybody owned an A5??

I love my Camaro, but I'd probably love it more if it was a SS. Right now I can probably handle a payment on a SS, but I wouldn't be comfortable with the extra money going for gas and insurance so I've been looking at many different cars. I found a 2010 Audi A5 near me for about 20,000. I want to know what you guys think about it.

See if you can swing an S5. Power train is awesome.

But neither are a Camaro.

Haha, can't expect much from a 2.0 turbo. Maybe if the turbo was bigger than my fist it'd be a little more fun

European cars pay for my Boss. Actually the Audi isn't horrible, the worst you will see is a head gasket or turbo. Possibly an antenna module, maybe a comfort module. A couple door modules might go out, but other than that they are pretty solid cars. Make sure you change the oil often, they tend to sludge up, and then the cam and high pressure fuel pump wear out.

I think any car with many electronics will have this problems

The A5/S5 is the only car I would own in black. Picture a black S5 with it's polished mirrors, slammed and sitting on some of these:

Just bought an A5 actually.... A Brilliant Red 6 speed manual. So far I love it. No it's not fast, but makes an awesome daily driver.

I don't have an A5, however I do have the Q5 which is the SUV.

I loved my Camaro and am getting a Stingray (just got the TPW today...5/12), however I really do love my Audi as well. I got it mainly because of the AWD system, however I really love the MMS...and expect I will like that better than the My Link on the Vette when I get it.

I don't know if the 2010 comes with the same MMS which has Google Maps built in, however it's fabulous when compared to anything I've used in any other car I've driven.

Also, quality of build is way higher. Car feels very solid, and even after 36,000 miles there are no rattles or problems. I expect the same would be true for the A5.

Lastly...LOVE this thing in the snow...not so much with the Camaro. It's my daily driver, as I won't be using my Stingray as such. SS was my DD though, and was decent for that.
