For awhile I took it easy on the mods in order to save up for a few more that I really wanted. But it was "show season," so me and several of my CVC friends had some good gatherings all summer while I saved up for more.

2nd Annual California Camaro Meet in Bakersfield:

Reserved "display" parking at our local theatre when Transformers 3 opened:

There was an "Ironhide" look-alike there, too

Hedrick's Chevrolet "Rock the Block" Car Show:

Car show at the Farmer's Market in Sanger, CA:

I was able to do a couple of photoshoots as well. My friend Victor hooked me up with these since he just needed an excuse to take shots of my Camaro:

I also went to Oceano Beach for a photoshoot. It was good times, and passersby enjoyed seeing a row of nice Camaros.

((Sorry for the bad quality on these two...I had to sneak them with my phone (photographer didn't want anyone else taking pictures). But the end result turned out great))

Gives you an idea how far away I was. After the main "formation" shoot we were allowed to shoot whatever we wanted, so naturally those came out much better:

My girl and I. This one's gonna get framed.

Finally, after a few months of saving, it was time for a few more MODS!

The next thing I wanted to do was get the ACS T2 front Splitter from ACS Composite to match the ports.

This is me with Brandon from Saints Motorsports with the primered, unpainted Splitter. He has helped with the install of most of my mods (and has done an excellent job).

I was VERY happy with the finished result:

I also had the bottom lip painted gloss black to match the Ports and Splitter to tie it all together. Mike at the local Valens Collision Center (www.facebook.com/valens.bodyandpaint) did a great job matching the black of the rally stripes. A very subtle change, but I love the way it looks.

Next on my list was a DRL Harness so my Halos/DRL's could be used simultaneously. The halos were a MUST HAVE on my list when I was ordering my Camaro, and I want them to be used! User "NVMYSS" on these forums was having a group-buy for the exact harness I was looking for, so I jumped on it.

Getting the install done, once again by Brandon at Saints Motorsports...

I also got some plasma bulbs (6k) for the DRL's so they would more closely match the Halo's. On the left is the stock bulb for comparison.

Now, the lights look like this during the day (they're brighter when it's cloudy, morning, dusk, etc. This pic was taken around the brightest time of day):

And like this at night:

The next mod I wanted IMMEDIATELY after it became available to order: a ZL1 spoiler! Ever since the 2010 Camaro came out, I have felt that the stock spoiler was just a liiiittle too small for my taste. I personally don't think the high-wing spoiler is all that bad, but just a liiittle too big. In my opinion, the ZL1 spoiler is ideal for the look I'm going for on Celeste.

First thing's first...getting the stock spoiler off.

Paint damage wasn't that bad at all where the stock spoiler used to be (I've heard some horror stories about how the paint has rubbed away completely underneath), but notice how the stripes don't extend all the way to the end of the trunk lid since they originally continued to the top of the stock spoiler. Problem #1, since the ZL1 spoiler is raised right there.

ZL1 Spoiler unboxed, CGM color-matched, and ready.

Problem #2 was that the RS spoiler requires different holes than the ZL1 spoiler, and the ZL1 spoiler can't be attached with adhesive, just mounting bolts (not that I would necessarily trust adhesive, anyway). Therefore, we had to drill. Easily one of the most painful things to watch...EVER.

With the holes finally drilled and everything measured, there were three holes total that could still be seen with the ZL1 spoiler on. We used some cheap plugs to fill them temporarily and drove (sans spoiler) to the nearby MarSer Designs (www.facebook.com/MARSERdesigns) to look at some stripe options.

Marc at MarSer Designs is LEGIT. He measured the exact length it would take to complete the stripes and went to work.

Before I knew it, the holes had been covered by the extended stripes! That way, when the ZL1 spoiler was mounted, the stripes would continue underneath it but still stop right at the edge of the trunk lid. The holes are almost completely unnoticeable. If you get really, really close to the space underneath the spoiler's brake light you can see the slight indentations, but just barely. Unless you're looking for them, they're invisible.

ZL1 Spoiler installed!

For the brake light, we simply detached the stock third brake light and used a harness that Ofer ("2SSRS" on these forums) offers for just such an occasion.

Side profile shot taken by my friend "sangerbanger58" on these forums for comparison:
