This.

I've heard some great sounding Camaros, and I love the sound of mine... but there is just something AMAZING about cutouts!!

Yes. If you switch to the SS exhaust, which is 2.5" from the midpipe down, the exhaust will be much louder. Not as loud as some of the other things on this thread (cutouts and straight pipes will def be louder) but still louder than stock.

Took me a minute to respond but if it's coupled with the intake, headers and exhaust mine seems to be louder with the tbs then without. That's my take. Still need the intake, headers and exhaust.......

How can this be? Most cutouts go right at the bend after the cats, so they open the exhaust there. When you say straight pipes, do you mean no h-pipe or x-pipe? After typing that, I am sure that is what you mean, and im just an idiot. Oh well, still seems they would be same loudness, jsut coming from different points on the car.

I have cutouts and I think they sound pretty crappy on the V6, basically it sounds like you have holes in your exhaust, which basically that is exactly what you have. It sounds cool idling, and high revs, but just driving or pulling away from a stop; at regular speed, it sounds like you need an exhaust. They are fun though, i like to nuetral cruise past unexpecting children, then light it up, whatch them jump and yell LMAO
