Seafoam induction?

Decided to seafoam the motor. It only has 5k on the clock w/o a catch can. My catch can finally arrived today and i want to make sure the motor is clean and ready prior to installing. Any recommend vacuum lines. I was going to induce it through the vacuum line via the back of the throttle body. Suggestions?

Get the aerosol can of seafoam. It comes with a straw you put inside the throttle body then reinstall the air ducting, run the engine and spray. It's much easier and I think does a better job.

I have always done the brake line vacuum way. But try it and get back to us.

I already bought 2 cans of seafoam and doing the 2 part cleaning of the engine/fuel system. Already filled up the tank and dumped a can of it in the gas tank.

The one that connects to the brake booster, I disconnect it but I use my thumb to close it so it won't shut off. So don't let it and let it suck it up slowly in increments.

The line right off the intake tube has to be the easiest. Cleans everything from the TB back.

Actually I decided to use the brake booster line. Did the induction portion and let it sit for about 20mins and I minimum to moderate smoke for about 3 hard pulls and the smoke was gone. Guess I didn't have to much carbon build-up! 👍Guess I broke that joint in right 🍺

The straw goes between the TB and the ducting. The car runs without any MAF leaks.
