I guess it depends what your overall goal is. This was a big improvement over stock and I think it provides both a fantastic look and improved ride/handling.

The sways add another level of performance handling that I want for Auto Crossing. By themselves they would add improved handling ,but in combination the handling should be incredible.

Best bang for buck is probably just springs since the cost is so much lower than sways. You also get a visual benefit and handling benefit. But if you are going to do some racing then I might change my answer.

Depends what you want to use them for.

Which one gives you the most bang for the buck when it comes to handling improvements?

Actual auto-crossing isn't really on my list but not feeling the body roll in curves and cornering is what I'm going after. In stock form, I can see & feel the weight of the car shifting in S-type curves and, right now, I have to plan for that by carefully monitoring the speed I'm carrying into the curves.

I've checked out the videos from Pfadt, Eibach, and Hotchkis and it looks to me that sway bars seem to make the most difference in keeping the car "flat" while cornering. But, they do cost more than the springs...

I know adding springs will bring the center of mass down closer to the ground and thereby help with handling as well. Unfortunately, I do have to consider the impact of lowering my car when it comes to driving on the roads I travel. Some back country roads, including my own street, are barely 1.5 lanes wide, which means if there are two of you on the road at the same time going opposite directions, one or both need to drop at least the outside tires off the road to get past each other. My car's underside clears the drop offs now but I'm not too certain it would if I drop the car an inch with springs.

Glad to hear the springs made a big difference with your car. It's good to get first hand information from people that have actually done the mods.

The springs will definitely give you the lack body roll you are looking for ,however if you have to drop off the road to get around people then I would say you should get the sways.

Brandon told me the Pfadt sways just dropped in price. I am waiting on a quote from him and will be adding them sometime soon.

Seconded - I'd go with the sways as well.

Or, if you really want to go hardcore (in a relative sense) get the pedder serious street - its basically a sway bar kit with free bushings.

Thanks for the input. I never planned to mess with the stock suspension but it just seems to need something done to it.

It need a little help to make it what it should be! Thats why the suspension engineers at pfadt (aaron and josh) have researched and developed some of the best, specific products for this chassis!
