hope this is in the right section but, if you order a 1ss, is it possible to have the dealer order the lighting kit later on an install it? or do you think there will be an aftermarket upgrade that will give you the same effect? what is the source of the abl on the new camaros? any info is appreciated -thanks

The dealership is suppose to soon sell Ambient lighting as an Accessory but there will be Aftermarket

After pulling apart the 2SS door we can tell you that the quality and design from GM is very poor for the ABL. We are currently looking at redoing the door and maybe create something better at the same time. It should be pretty easy to come up with a solution for ABL in a 1SS or 1LT/LS cars but it will not be something we would offer.

INDPOWER - thanks for your post. Any chance that you guys might be coming up with aftermarket ambient lighting that would also light up all along the upper edge of the dash in a 2SS as shown on the early Camaro prototype? There would be a tremendous market for that package if you guys could do it.
