Putting HID headlamps in my LS

Does anyone know if it is necessary to buy the harnesses to cancel error codes when switching from halogen to HID?

No, you dont need that. All you need is a standard Relay type harness with a high beam/ lo beam controller that connects directly to the battery. You dont want the direct plug in type because the Daytime lights run 6 volts on the low beam and the HID's will flicker. I have TRS lights, and they are very good quality and very good prices. i recommend them, be careful there's a lit of junk out there. stay away from ebay, all junk.
