Isn't that motor going to add at least 100lbs to the front of ur car? Seems like the new house power will only off set the add weight.

100lbs is worth a tenth in the quarter. And the rule of thumb is roughly 20whp per pound of boost... i think he will be fine lol.

Adding 100lbs to pick up 50rwhp is worth it? Maybe I missing something here!

Lets just say

In all the years of building LSX BLOCK cars......Never not even 1 time has anyone said I can't stand my car now due to the weight on the nose.

That's 10 years of selling LSX Blocks talking.

In another way
LS3 max out at around 800hp
LSX max out at around 2200hp if this helps you

I understand the max of the LSX block but this build is no where close to it. The stock block is more than capable of 700rwhp without the added weight gain to an already heavy car. Maybe the goal of 700 was stated incorrectly and the goal is closer to 1k this would make sense. If not I see no gain in performance, the 50rwhp will just offset the added weight.

The last thing on my mind would be the 100lbs. While I agree, an LSX block to make 700whp seems a little....well not necessary stock engines can crank 700 whp all day long. But to be honest, we all want more, even the OP stated he got used to his power and wanted more. Whats a better way to get more down the road, when he realizes 700 is not as good as 1100 lol. Then hes already got the engine to do it with sitting under his hood. Hey man, to each his own, its his money, his car, and honestly, I hope he has a blast, and enjoys the sh!t out of it.

50rwhp WOULD make the car faster given the "100lb" gain.

If you're that worried about added weight, I take it you never let anyone ride in your car because it kills performance...

Car its done, going in the dyno today can't wait to see the results
As stated in my original post our goal its to hit 700rwhp mark i know that its not big and that its not why i got this engine to hit 700 and leave it alone (NEVER)
Going from the stock engine to Lsa Conversion that was big step for me gained over 250rwhp the car feels lighter stronger and oh yeah a lot quicker. And within a year i got used to that power level and i knew i need i big upgrade, thats when i called Andy and he recommend me to get the LSX engine first and in near future to go big over 1k rwhp thats when this engine comes into the play,
Again Andy build me one heck of a car last year and i am more then happy to have it on his hands again

Well, regardless of the reason being justified for 50 wheel horsepower. The car has a race ready LSX block, he is instantly in a different league "potentially". Talk about room to grow. If he ever wanted to move past the small 1.9 litre blower what ever power adder he upgrades to will take him to the MOON. 650 - 700 looks about max out efficiency for a LSA blower. The next step to safely shove out more power is a block upgrade. Sweet choice!!
