Doesn't appear to have a HUD either.

Actually, it's not a V6. In the post where Bob wrote about actually driving this car, he said "The Big V8".

This prototype may not have every feature that will be available for us as options though. So we can't rule things out like the HUD or Cowl.

Anybody else notice the conventional rear view mirror attached to the windshield?

Yeah, I figured I was missing something. I knew that you wouldn't be one to miss a detail like that.

And the roof panel is straight. No curve in it like the vette.

It's about time we get a little information, things were getting kind of boring. Good find, it's just what the doctor ordered.

yeah...I'm hoping it's because it's only a prototype. I know they don't actually do anything usually (unless your racing at 100mph) - but it looked nice

I'm not so sure about that. in the original photo...It's terrible to make anything out through the camo, but I'm pretty sure I can see it still has the divit running down the center.

The black photo was a photoshop, remember, and although it doesn't show anything on the roof. It was an artists interpretation, and doing whatever he had to do...it's not easy to "erase" all those white triangles, you have to create what was hidden (which is their purpose)...
