Airaid Throttle Body Spacer

Has anyone had any experience with this throttle body spacer, or throttle body spacers in general. I am new to perfomance modifications, do these add any power or at least better response?

All Ive heard and nothing different is that there is absolutely no gains with the newer engines.

Waste of money. As our motors, and with fuel injection in general, the air/fuel mixture isn't mixed before the intake manifold, which is where spacers do their work. So one won't gain anything through better atomization, as it's not happening there. At best, it will increase velocity a little bit, but not enough to make a difference IMHO.

I've been told the same. No gains on modern engines with a throttle body spacer.

I'm planning on having my throttle body ported and polished I've had it done on the car i owned before my camaro and there was a noticeable difference in the throttle response.

Contact Tracy (SC2150) from this Forum and discuss this with him.

Sorry, your theory "if you add enough of this things all together" is simply incorrect...

0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0... = ZERO

No one has ever been able to prove that a TB spacer on a fuel injected car, especially a DI car, has ever made any difference.

And I don't know anyone that's saying an intake won't produce any power(although there have been install issues and early design issues that've been worked out).
