Mash, much nicer on the black IMO. That is VERY nice! I think that the flames should not be confined to the lines of the raised cowl of the hood. I think the flames should go where they want, whereas the stripes should be confined to the lines and cowl. Just my opinion.

I think this is what you want. I have to agree with TAG. I like the other better. Just my opinion.

I meant take the flames all the way across the car... from the hood to the rear deck.

I am not a big fan of flames at ALL but that black with the flames on the cowl hood looks pretty sharp!!!

Mash, that looks so much better. Still like the fire to be free, but in the stripe like that, looks great.

Okay, I don't really want to make a bunch of requests for you, but Mash, I'm really wondering what you can do here....
First one...similar to that camaro that Foose did for Ian Zering....same color combo you have here (black with flames), but make it 2 stripes running down the hood and decklid. Second, take this last black with flames you did...change the black to white and do the flames in the blue-purple spectrum rather than the red-orange-yellow. Doable? |

And Mash, I'm kinda making an "All Black" collection of pics...can I get the pic you used for the flame strip but without the flame strip? =)

Mash, like the split stripes better (on the black one).
Here's a challenge for ya... Do you think you can do a Camaro in pewter w/ black flames. Let me see if I can explain this properly. The car is all pewter. On the front end up onto the hood (I guess halfway up the hood), there would be black flames. The flames would be darkest at the nose and fade as they go up. But, they fade and are different shades of black (or transparency) all throughout...kinda like the real fire ones from above. This way, you can see the pewter under the black flames. It might be too much to ask for. If it can't be done, it's all good...no problem. I'm really into the pewter/black stripes w/ the plate you did for me. I'm just curious to see how this could turn out. |
