I am very familiar with ARD dyno from other members and specifically from our older member rolnslo. They use the same in ground bigger 248x dynojet that we use. You are correct, they do read a little lower but I don't know about 25hp. I think it's more like 10-15hp.

but you do have a nice amount of mod there. Can't wait to see those 1/4 times. Did you do any runs without the shot?

Nice.. and more for "the list"!

Was at a Car Show and they had portable Dyno Trailer setup, So what the hell i tried it.

Some how it looks low i dont see how it can be at the bottom of the stock range with the Mods i have. thought it should have been around 250.

Also its very jumpy does that mean anything? Can i have something wrong maybe?

The HP should be over my Torque right? Maybe it was just a bad pull and i should test on something more stable at a shop?

Date: 04/28/2012
Dyno: Dynojet 224x
Gear Pulled In: I dont know. maybe the Pic would have it listed.

Two pulls

Peak RW Horsepower: 222.35 hp
Peak RW Torque: 227.33 ft-lb

Engine: LLT

Upgrades:
-Cold Air Inductions,Inc. Cold Air Intake
-VMax IM Spacer
-MRT v2
-Trifecta Engine and Transmission Tune

Its definitely low....who knows exactly why but the dyno chart looks pretty strange.

First off your torque numbers, while kind of low, closely resemble what stock output would be on an automatic..maybe a little higher than what I'd expect for stock, but for your mods I'd expect 10 to 20 more.

The HP should never be lower than the torque for this car. Usually on a car that dynos around 225 TQ, the HP ends up around 245 to 250 or more. One problem is it doesn't seem like they took the car to redline (should have gotten to 6,500 rpm or more, but they didn't) but even so, the numbers are still low.

That said...don't worry about it man...no dyno should be taken as gospel.

im really starting to think what I heard about our v6 making less than 312hp is true. I just don't believe that all these dyno jets read low. The king of numbers at that. I'm just glad I'm moving on. hopefully im wrong.

Thanks! I take this a first time test. I try to get a good Dyno done with all the needed information and then you can post that in the list.

Yeah I don't know....but if that is true but the LFX engines really are making 323 then that is a nice boost lol. So far, most of the dynos I've seen on the LFX cars seem to be fairly spot on in my opinion.

I'm dynoing my car on Saturday. I don't know whether to dyno in 3rd or 4th. I have never done this before, so any advice about dynoing is appreciated.

Rodgers Chevrolet is having an event on May 12th. Livernois is bringing out their portable dyno. For a donation you can make some pulls. I plan to get at least two pulls in to just see what it does.

My TC was off prior to the pulls, but on the first pull all the lights lit up for Stabilitrac and so on. They cleared once I drove down the road for a few miles.

LLT

Type and make of dyno: Mustang Dynamometer

ODO at the time of the dyno: 34,525

Temperature: 65f / Humidity at 85% /

Manual/auto: Auto

Gear used(3rd or 4th): 4th gear used

Modification: Solo CAT Back, CAI CAI (other mods are cosmetic)

Correction used(STD or SAE): not sure...dyno sheet states "with WCF" I'll post both with and without corrections

Result:
Horsepower
No Correction: 255.4 @ 6501 rpm / 144.1 MPH
With WCF: 259.6 @ 6501 rpm

Torque:
No Correction: 222.0 @ 4806 rpm / 106.3 MPH
With WCF: 226.1

Not bad Rangore...I'd consider 260 to be pretty good with just exhaust and intake.
