Upgrades under way!!

Took my car to Raliegh today.
Air Raid CAI
Injectors
Ported snout and blower
160 thermostat
Kook headers and punched Cats
Cam
Upper and lower pulleys and tensioner relocation kit
RX Super Chiller
Tune!!!!
Oh baby I can't wait. Hit 1500 miles on the drive up. I'll have pics of the install as it happens and tuner said he would video the last pull on the Dyno. I'll post it! Then I'll let the parts break in together for couple hundred miles then it's to the strip!

That sounds right along the line as to what I would like to do plus an RX Chiller. I'll be keeping tabs on this build. Are you planning on a dyno run after the work is done?

Mayhem Motorsports in Raliegh. They do a lot of SS and CTV S work. I think the owner Jay was more exited than me to get the work underway!

The Super Chiller was supposed to be on that list. Thats what took us a while to get our hands on. He talked me into the cam last week. I was going to do it later, then realized they had to take the front clip off to do the chiller so i figured the might as well slap a cam in there while there at it. I don't want to dig in too many times. Just doesn't leave me too much to look forward to except maybe some heads . I really don't think i'm going to need too much more horespower than this will give me. Jay says 700 to the wheels all day long, we'll see about that. I'll post the dyno sheet when I get it.

there is no way this will even be close to enough power. you might not even really feel these mods without doing the heads as well.

ha ha As you can tell I have a devil on each shoulder.

Called Mayhem yesterday and Jay told me I got a "ringer" right out of the box. The first pull before any mods produced 520 rwp. I asked if there could have been a mistake. He said nope he did 2 pulls. So, I know the skeptics are going to post. My answer beforehand? It is what it is, I will post ALL dyno sheets, before and after. Let the facts speak for themselves. Me and the team from Mayhem are going to take it to Rockingham in a few weeks to see what it will do in the 1/4. I'll give it a few shots then let one of them take it to put up the best numbers possible. He said it will have the capability to run in the 9's. We'll see!

What are you gonna run for tires at the strip?

Did he say how much of an increase hp you gain from adding the ported snout and blower?

wow...520 at the wheels?! Awesome. That's like only 11% drivetrain loss. I guess the break-in procedure works.
