Not that I care how you obtain your cars, but weren't you here a while back posting about how you were deciding on whether you wanted a ZL1 or some other car and your parents were going to pay for whatever you decided on? I'm pretty sure that's the case if my memory serves me correctly. If so, your posts that come across as almost taking some kind of pleasure in other peoples financial misfortunes, whether they be self inflicted or not, are even more perplexing to me.

Yes my father and mother got me a 2012 gtr. If I can find a cheap ZL1 I want that too.

If gas was an issue, I would have left in on the lot.

My Daily Driver is a Chevy Volt. I am at about 111 miles per gallon used since January 2010. It is a three-year lease, $4k down and about $370 per month. My electric bill for my house and the car is less than $100 per month. What I really need to do is get some solar panels for the house and then I am really sticking it to OPEC...

What I don't understand is, why do you care? Out of envy or what?

Your mother and father buy your cars for you and you think "You have come so far"?....being able to pay your own way and buy those things you desire in life is "Coming so Far"...what you describe is "Sucking On The Mamma Teet" and has nothing to do with anything other than being a spoiled little boy who understands NOTHING about real life and what it takes to do that which allows us to purchase those things that we enjoy.....

I like this guy! You see the positive side of things! You're just like me!

Truthfully gas wouldn't be a problem to me. Gas isn't a problem for me now in my 2SS. For one thing my car gets driven mostly on the weekends and sunny days (it's a 2010 and has 14,488 miles). Secondly, I live 6 miles away from my job so if I really had to use it to commute I could, but that is what my 2011 Buick Regal CXL and 1997 Saturn SL2 is for.

I get that question a lot at work. "What are you going to do when gas goes up"? Same thing I do now! It's funny too because most of the guys drive huge full size trucks & SUV's.

For everyone getting ZL1's.....enjoy it for me! I just got a new house last September and it needs a little renovating. So I couldn't join y'all right now, but maybe in a couple years when I get this out the way I can
