Is there a way to update the software on the existing radio?

I'm not sure about the radio, but the 2010 PDIM's had some problems that warranted an upgrade (USB indexing, bluetooth problems, etc...). You'll likely have to buy a new PDIM though as the early ones could only be upgraded so far. There's a post (I believe sticky) in the audio section that explains the PDIM situation.
