Great build but instead of waiting for a cooler day to make more power why dont you do some cooling mods and have the power every day of the week.

Us Cobra guys know alot about high IAT's and pulled timing. One of the first mods guys do during or right after a pulley swap is when their looking into larger heat exchangers with dual fans, larger IC tanks with ice because of the heat soak and pulled timing really slow's down cars at the track or after just one pull.

On the street during every pull I logged I never saw 20deg over ambient which is great. The problem is on the dyno there is no airflow so I would see really high IAT's. On the street my car will have more power than it did on the dyno, it will have more timing and denser air.

He doesn't have any belt slip because he's not making much boost. Low boost equal low load on the belt. I'm guessing he's seeing less than 5psi as equipped.

Maybe not but the TVS is still cranking out the RPM's, no matter the boost pressure.

Very nice.I like seeing the cars pushed allittle.

150 isn't very high for a 2300 on the dyno(we have a Mustang dyno too).

I would look at a few things. Maybe bringing the A/F down to 10.5-1(E-85 should be alot richer than reg fuel) and there is a high possibility that the KR sensors are reading false KR from the belt/blower harmonics. We see that alot on the belt driven blowers.

They don't slip unless you put a heavy load on them. At low boost, the blower isn't much different than a PS pump, AC compressor, or alternator. Something else will harelip before you'll see belt slip at mild boost....even at high rpm

Thanks

I never saw any knock whatsoever, I just didn't want to keep putting timing in with the computer pulling it and the high IAT's. I'll go back in the winter to further tune the timing.

to clarify the computer pulled timing from the IAT spark table, not from knocking

Yup, I agree. With the cam and exhaust (no cats either) my boost should not be to high.

We looked for any signs of belt dust and there was none but I know that doesn't 100% mean it wasn't slipping

610x15%=701.5rwhp. E85 shows it colors with that "numerical"
This is not always the case. My dyno (AWD DynoJet) reads quite a bit lower than comparable Mustang Dynos. Our 2011 Mustang GT put down 369rwhp bone-stock while the local Mustang Dyno just dynoed one (Bone-stock as well) that made 387rwhp. We built/tuned/dynoed a heads/cam C6Z that made 582rwhp on my DynoJet and when the customer drove it back to WV to dyno near his house it made 609rwhp on a Mustang.

It is just a common misconception that Mustang dyno's automatically dyno lower Since we are getting ready to add an AWD Mustang to our AWD DynoJet I have no horse in the race but just thought I would point it out.

Install one of ADMs CAIs and there is another 30 RWHP on the table just bolting it on NO Tuning.

The Maggie Really responds to Intake changes.

Cool Build you have there.

Ted.

Thanks for the tip, the maf transfer will not need to be calibrated?

I am already looking for more hp. . . Thinking about going 8rib with an overdrive crank pulley. I'm just a little nervous about the bottom end, but I see you pushed a few over 700. How are those cars holding up? Any concerns?
