SIM Saturday - Photoshoot!
Busted out the camera and had some fun! Experimented with some lighting, and then got lucky with a stormy sky. Lucky for the back ground, but also that I didn't get caught in the rain either! She's coming along and I am loving the new suspension! Next year will be drivetrain and I have my eye on those Pfadt Tri Y headers .
Wasn't sure about my wheel choice at first but the more I look at them the more I like them. Dropping her made a huge difference too. Comptemplating going with a RPI or some other splitter out front. What do you guys think? That or lower the car another 1/2 inch or more. That would take me down 2"s or more. Decisions, decisions. |

The first two posts from two people with cars who inspired me before I even got mine ... sweet - thanks .
Thanks - means a lot to me. This place is great inspiration and clearly we all like camaros. It's nice to get a nod from other camaro owners. None of that "nice car, is that mustang?" stuff . The blacked out Bowtie on the front isn't helping that much, but read the fender man, it's there in chrome "CAMARO" . Yeah, I am leaning toward a front splitter. Now which one is the question. The RPI ones look nice, color matched probably. |

Yeah I like it, but I actually PS'd that part. I kinda did to see if she'd even notice. My wife thinks I am for wanting to do it. Too bad the real song isn't very flattering. If it was I'd would do it for real! I think it'd be a cool plate.
I wonder how many people would even get the reference? The Dead Milkmen, man o' man that takes me back. Truth is that song reminds of a dude I knew in High School eons ago. He had the sickest late 70's or early 80's black on black Trans Am with those brushed deep dish centerlines. The car was insane looking, fast as hell, and all paid for by mom and dad. So were the lawyers who bailed his A$$ out all the time for the stupid stuff he did it. He finally wrecked it beyond repair. Wonder what even happened to that dude.... |
