That ZR-1 is a Beast. Definately worth the cash.

I'm glad to finally see some times in stock form out of that car that anybody who knows anything about performance cars knew it was capable of. Any person who does not appreciate what the ZR1 represents is simply a fool.

Will this awesome achievement bring out the whole "Manual vs. Auto" debate again?

No Doubt.. but Furman is a helluva driver.. and this is his old Z06 time from back in 2007. Nonetheless... this is the GREATEST that is the Chevy Small-Block.. if someone told me that it powered a Corvette faster than the Space Shuttle to the moon I wouldn't be surprised... |

One more thing... One of the true issues with the Corvette, in general, actually would be much faster without those wretched RUNFLATS. I can seriously attest to this.. and right now am looking at Tire Rack in another tab for some sweet ass Michelin PS2s.

The ZR1 doesn't have runflats does it? I know other Corvettes do but I thought I heard they had a problem due to the aspect ratio of the tires.
