But, seriously, I have done paint work for 25 years and have always detailed my own work and I never really realized how little water could be left on a car if you sheet it off with a slow hose versus spraying the car down.
Saw it on Adams videos, not to pimp them. It was just a good place to view the technique. Rinsing this way can lead to a difference between one towel to dry and three. I'm not trying to be combative; I'm just trying to help. I know you know the technique but you could post your own video of it here if you want to keep this self-contained. Thanks for the thread! |

For any of you guys looking to start using a DA or buffer, I'd highly recommend the Porter Cable 7424XP, it's arguably the best DA out there for a beginner. Listen to this OP, he knows what he is talking about!! Thanks, Nick C.
