well as some of you know I've had some problems with my stripes. I called the guy that did them and he looked at it. Said he has never seen 3m vinyl do this. He took some pictures of it for proof for the person that supplies him with vinyl and said he will get back to me on Monday. Looks like my car will have to be completely re- done.

Was wondering whatever came of that. Glad it's getting fixed.

Delta River Cruisin' - Saturday, September 27th

This is NOT a BCCC club event. However, if you like older Camaros (and pretty much anything else you can imagine wanting to see that is 1979 or older), come down to Sam's Town Tunica tomorrow. My grandfather's car club (Memphis Street Rods) is putting on their 15th Annual Delta River Cruisin' car show. They are expecting 2014 registration to be between 900 and 1,000 cars! These guys know how to put on a show! Street rods, muscle cars, rat rods, classics...you name it, you'll likely see it there. Show cars to daily drivers.

Obviously there is a fee to register a vehicle for the show, but the show is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. You can walk around and stay as long as you'd like. Free parking in the covered parking garage at Sam's Town Tunica as well.

So, before you watch the Memphis Tigers take on Ole Miss tomorrow night, why not drive down to Tunica tomorrow to check out one of the biggest car shows in our region. The show is open all day...sunrise to sunset.

Colby and I will be there for the better part of the day tomorrow. Just look for the University of Memphis tailgating tent. Looks like great weather.

If you're looking for something to do tomorrow, come see us! Lots of Camaros...I promise!

Hope everybody has a great weekend!

OK sir...first off, the Hernando Water Tower Festival Car Show IS a BCCC EVENT! It goes to support low-income at-risk youth right here in our community...something I think we can all get behind. We need to be investing in our youth (watched the news lately)! So yes, I'm gonna plug that event...it's important to me and I'd love for the car club that I am actually a member of to be involved.

Second, I thought folks might like to know about the Tunica car show today...in case anyone was looking for something to do. It is one of the LARGEST car shows in our region. Since we're all cars guys/gals, and the event is FREE, yeah I thought it was worth mentioning.

I'm happy to promote any BCCC event. I don't have a lot of info about Shilo as Adam F. and Cooley are running/coordinating that event (I believe). But I know those guys will keep us up to date.

Just a "small" sample of some of the amazing cars we saw today at the Delta River Crusin' car show in Tunica. 921 cars registered as of 4:00 today...kudos to my grandfather's club on another fabulous show.

Yeah, it was pretty cool. Those early secnond gen Camaros have grown on me some. If done right, they can be really cool. The split bumper Z/28 has a great look to it.
