what is R6P? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I did a search didn't find what R6P means. I think it has to do with early orders. I did order on 10/20/08 I did get a workbench sheet, but it does not have R6P code on it, how can I tell if my order is R6P? thanks for any help.

As an R6P code owner, it does mean it's early order and we received a package from GM with a letter thanking us for our orders and a print of the Camaro done up in the color you ordered.

hhhmmm! That's weird! I ordered 11/21 and got the package around 12/21... letter and print! Not sure why you didn't!

i am also wondering about this mythical R6P code... it's not listed with my other codes on the sheet. like WRS is the RS pack and thats on my details, but no R6P

Also... Got one but not my color. It was what looks like RJT, which might be what they all were??? Since you ordered RJT, it was your color, just my guess... Also, that order number was weird, it wasn't the same as the workbench order number, so not sure what it related to. Either way, still no car, even though I ordered 10-13... I am sure there are many others like that too.

I also didn't know what the R6P was, I just thought it was code for "early order" too...

it doesn't show up on all build sheets, but when you get your car open the trunk and look by the spear tire and there is a little square of codes it is on there. and the picture is not of the color you buy, its the picture of the original concept
