Armando, I like the way you think. Things are so complicated now. Sometimes I just want a phone to be a phone with 9 buttons and thats it!

Awesome! Great to have you! 19 people signed up so far with a couple weeks left to go! This is going to be a sick cruise! I'm excited already!

Awesome! Happy to have you! That makes 20 cars so far and we still have a couple weeks to go.

I am looking at possibly getting shirts made. Simple black t-shirts with the logo on the chest center, or left pocket. Gonzo is checking out pricing and then we can make a decision if its something we want to do or not.

Either way, I am stoked to see so much interest in this cruise. Please feel free to talk it up with your Camaro or Corvette buddies. The more the merrier!

Happy hump day...celebrate as you see fit!

Ok guys/gals...looks like there is interest in a shirt. Here is what we are looking at...a simple black t-shirt with the cruise logo large center chest and the SoCal Camaro5 logo on the bottom of the right sleeve. The cost would be $20 and that goes completely to the vendor. No profit to be made here on our end but we get a great shirt to memorialize what looks to be a nice turnout for a canyon cruise. I am speaking to Tag Ur It to make sure we are okay to use the Camaro5 five font/logo and reproduce it. Looks like we should be fine for these shirts but if we ever wanted to do something bigger for the masses then there could be an issue and I understand that. They have brand equity in the logo. I hope to have this all clarified today and then we can take orders.

Hey Lars,

Not to add a complication, but I would suggest ordering the shirts from a supplier of made in the US products, rather than the cheap ones. The cost is not much different - $20 printed should be no problem. Here's the one we use at Angelwings Tech: http://allusaclothing.com/

BTW - The Corvette Owners Club of San Diego is holding our "Racers' Run" from Bob Stall Chev. in La Mesa up to K1 Speed in Carlsbad the Saturday before your run - April 28. All Camaro owners are welcome to join us for the run and out on the kart track. I'll post up a thread later today.

Craig

Thanks of the referral Craig! At this point in the game we will have to go with the vendor who is printing the shirts but I am happy to use the link above for our next shirts!

Hey guys and gals! We are ready to take your order for Cruise T-Shirts. The t-shirts are black, short sleeve, t-shirts with the Cinco de Camaro Cruise logo in the front, center chest...and the new SoCal Camaro5 logo on the sleeve. The cost of the shirt is $20 and the deadline to order is Friday, April 28th so we can have them in time for the cruise. I am happy to collect your money on May 4th at the next RaceLegal or on May 5th at the cruise. If you reserve a shirt please be sure to pay so that I am not stuck with a bill. I have had a couple people who are unable to make the cruise ask if they can still order a shirt...YES! Please let me know your order...# of shirts (if more than 1) and the size.

Here is a picture of a test run of the shirt...

Here is the new SoCal Camaro5 logo for the sleeve. Had to change the font so we don't have to keep asking for permission to use the Camaro5 logo. Please this looks a little cleaner and resembles a SoCal Earthquake.
