Save gas, right? LOL
Today the odometer on my Camaro rolled 465 miles. I left the dealer 7 days ago, Saturday around 7PM, with 13 miles. My commute accounts for 100-120 miles a week depending on if I work 5 days or 6.
So the rest of that has been just....effing off When I bought the car I was like yea! More fun to drive, looks sweet, gets better MPG! My trade in was a 2005 Silverado Crew Cab. ACTUALLY, all I have succeeded in doing is averaging 22MPG while driving it like a sports car and using the same dollar amount of gas, just getting to drive a bunch more! Babying my Silverado around it was getting perhaps 17MPG...and absolutely no fun to drive. Not to mention....you don't get excited seeing other crew cab Silverados around. If anything, I was rather sick of them Ah hell, still was a great choice |

You'll get a little better mileage the more you break in the car, be patient.

I get 18 to 20 in my SS vert. 16 in my Dodge Caravan. Which one do you think gets driven? Of course the fun one!

If you care about gas milage, don't get the SS.
I get roughly 16MPG and I don't drive it like I stole it. I give it a bootfull from time to time though. You can almost see the fuel needle moving towards empty

I traded in an Avalanche that was getting me 14~16MPGs, the main reason I got my Camaro in the first place was to save a little gas, my first tank got me an average of 22~23 MPGs, it has gone up considerably since then, I am now averaging 30+MPGs now(I live out in the sticks where there isn't much traffic at all, mostly country driving)
I really don't miss my Avalanche.

Haters gonna hate?

When I had my trailblazer I got 18. Then my v6 I got 22. Now my v8 gets 22+ I have no idea how that happened either. But I'm not complaining
