Quarter panel dimpling??

Has anyone had this problem before? Are there other posts about this issue I failed to locate?

Since new I have added the factory front strut brace, Eibach lowering springs and Eibach front/rear sway bars.

I noticed these right away as they are on the driver side rear quarter and were easily visible in the side mirror. I had just driven through another Florida highway construction zone when I noticed.

This has been mentioned/posted before. I have at least 7 or 8 on each 1/4 panels just as some others do.
On my summit white no one would notice them but me - very very small dimples right on top of the arch.
It may be from the factory or ??.

Most likely cause by build up or imperfection on the die used to form the rear quarter

This was common on the 4th gens. It seems to be where the welds are made and a crumple zone in case of an accident. Still shouldn't be there though

I have not noticed I will check. I do have one on my drivers side front fender, and I noticed two other Camaros with the same thing in the same place. I'll check my hips and get back to this thread. It's raining right now though...

Since you had your springs changed, it's possible somone was pushing down in these areas to check the suspension

I don't have any dimples....

I don't believe that is a factory defect, but some jouncing your car after a spring install is realistic.

It could happen by setting something on your car for a second to open the door too? O

Maybe it's from the car carriers or trains during delivery. The cars are tied down but still flex &/or try to bounce.
Just a thought- Again I have several on my car since new.
