I went to wash my car today, and found I'd used my car wash bucket to hold my 30-06 spent brass

Looking for some beginners advice - with the impending gun control changes that have been promised I'm applying for my permit just to have and own a hand gun.

I am doing this before it becomes difficult to obtain a permit or own for whatever reasons.

My question is - I'm a fair beginner when it comes to hand guns and would just like to see what everyone's opinion is on a solid and 'enjoyable to fire at the range' handgun. Either revolver or pistol.

Thanks for any advice everyone

I went with a 1911 it's a solid dependable gun.

I like the Sig 226 myself. My advice is to go look at a few different guns and just hold them. Find one that fits your hand and is comfortable to hold. I don't care for Glock, and can't stand Baretta

It should be noted tho I get a ridiculous deal from working with Remington so the R1 and ammo is nothing for me!

Where do you shoot? Pumpkin Center is outside of Tulsa, right? I live down in Lawton, well at least until the end of April

I shoot in the field behind the house... I'm half-way between Lawton and Duncan.

Just added all new upgrades to my dpms sportical. I've had assault rifles before, and I'm impressed with this rifle. Bought a new rail, bipod, butt stock, pistol grip, front and back fold down sights. Already had a stealth tactical scope. Bought the gun at Walmart for 598.00 last week. I have a little over 900.00 in a bad ass gun now..
