One of our horses got very sick last night and we were there doing what we could. Well, early this AM we had to call the Vet out and she had no choice but to put him down. Very sad and he was only 8 years old.

We will miss you Dozer....hope the rest of the year is easier...

Such a big beautiful animal. Anytime you lose an animal you are this close to, it always feels like losing a family member.

It's tough to lose a loved animal. They are a part of the family and your daily activity.

One of the horses we had was put down just 3 months before his 30th birthday. We had raised him from birth. My father was a rock while growing up and that hit him harder than just about anything I had ever seen.

Sorry about your loss. :(

Having animals are great most of the time but can lead to some of the saddest times...
