HAD to do it, MAY GUYS Whats up
Had to post my own thread. Car is on its way. Just wondering who ordered in may, how are you doing? I know must of us have been in the same boat. Any who, suppose to be delivered July 2, but dealer said they often come earlier than expected. Everything they have said has come true so far, im pretty happy with my experience.

5/25 order here
Last week, I got a build date of the week of 6/29. Would like for someone to look it up for me again. How soon after it's built do you actually get a VIN? And how do you get it?

mine got it that day. But whos to say the car wasnt built three day before your get your VIN. There is no way to tell. Your VIN will be put on workbench which your dealer can check, and my dealer got an invoice yesterday as well. I dont know how you have a production date i didnt get one till 3400. It takes about 9 days to go to 3800 from 3400. So I would assume you will see a vin about 5-6 July. and car two weeks after that.

I hope i have the same luck as you and got a 6/29 production week! I haven't heard from my dealer since he told me i was at 3300 and at the time i forgot to ask if i had a TPW.

Called chevy today and got a TPW of July 13, the week following the shutdown. Even though my dealer still had me at 3000 as of yesterday.

Ordered 4/29 and my car has been sitting in a rail yard waiting for a truck transport since Friday. Need more cars to make the trip I guess.
Update. Its at the dealer!

Damn looks like production is moveing along very nicely. I had to wait app. 8 months. congrats to you guys what 3 months to delivery. Nice.

I ordered 5/14/09 and I was told 6-8 wks ,but I haven't moved yet. So I don't see it happening. Did not call this past week. Did not want to hear the same thing I've been told " you'll be the first to know".
