First track test
I need some feedback guys, I did a little test and tuning today, I ran between 13.4 - 13.8, I have an SS, L99 with K&N CAI and cat back solo performance. Best 1/8 mile pull was 8.8. Are these numbers good?? What can I do to get better numbers without headers or tuning?? I found launching in competitive mode Work the best. Also I was between 3/4 and full of gas how much time do you think that would shave off if I went down to an eighth of a tank? I would not have that much gas in if I knew I was going to run

Headers, tune, and a converter. Make that pig run low 12s! To answer your question, an untuned L99 needs low ambient temps and a good cool down to run good.

Yeah, I agree but I leave that for my 67 Mopar. Temp was 55-72 today. I think I would be wasting my money just tuning without headers??

Do you mean to install them or are you asking about what specific parts to use?

you could install the TB yourself (extremely easy) and you can order it from chase^^^^ i just ordered one from him 2 days ago
For suspension you could just swap some trailing arms etc. You shouldn't need much in the way of suspension since its an L99 |

In good weather a stock L99 A6 is a low 13s sec car.
Add a tune and intake- high 12s Headers, intake, tune - mid 12s Headers, intake, tune, drag radials - low 12s Here's the bolt ons list. You can see what's needed to run these times. |

Guys I really appreciate all ur suggestions and help, I just went there to watch my friends 383 stroker and I ended up running myself. Now I certainly have a goal shoot for, I would be happy with 12.8/9
