i've got a guy too. was referred to him by the jerk. his name is Tim. i'll have to get his card and get you his number. $125 for wash, clay, wax, wheels (even inside on the wall of the rim), and interior. did a fantastic job!!!!

he'll even give you pointers on how to take care of the car yourself.

i used to do detailing at 2 previous jobs and can't bring myself to pay someone upwards of $150 to detail my car when i can do it on my own at home for nothing close to that cost. just need to spend a little time. but once i saw the jerk's car, i decided it was well worth the money. if anything, to do it just once. get a good foundation to build on.

Tim is awsome!!! Got my ride done there and it looked better than new! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Tim Scott's #818-212-0521. He's mobile and can come to you but primarily works out of a high end car shop with Ferrari, Benz, etc. in the Marina next to Ralphs off the 90 off ramp and Lincoln.

Definately recommend him, tell him Chris with the IOM Camaro sent ya too

Would not use Tim again.

Left dirt in the bottom outside of rims and didn't touch the inside as claimed above. Used some acid rim wash that left etch marks in my driveway.

Rushed through job and charged $165

Really? Damn. Sorry to hear that man. Mine, Chris', Frank's, Albert's, and a guy I work with that has a new 5.0 all turned out great.

I know of a great guy in Costa Mesa/Santa if anyone needs. Very reasonably priced and works very fast too.

Whatever you do, don't go to Steve's Detailing (or lack of detailing for that matter).

I went there to see what they could do about removing swirl marks on my car and the guy who supposedly was a 20 year veteran at detailing cars couldn't see any swirl marks. He then pointed out what was clearly dirt and said that he could see that scratch. When he finally decided to see the swirls, he said "swirls marks will always be there and there's nothing you can do about it..."

I sure wish I could take my car back to him now and show him how I removed the swirls marks with my Adam's PC Kit and tell him to f@ck his 20 years.

He supposedly did a great job on Comm17's as well, spent 3 hrs on hers!

Mine was the last car of the day, so I got the shit sickle.

He should not have taken the job if he wasn't going to do his best!

How about making a 'Sticky' out of this topic?
I'm sure others would like referrals and recommendations...
...and updates could be made on the quality of work

Daughter's Saturn (LB) is in need of some cleanup.
