I'm still here, just have the "here" swapping to "there."

Can't wait for some production ZL1 goodness to roll out.
AHH retirement... congratulations, and enjoy

Granting you permission to go back to Arizona. That way you can root for Rich Rodriguez.

Hey I remember asking guys in a Z28 thread what they would do if the ZL1 was actually the answer to the Boss. They kept saying GM was a fail and needed a Z28 type track car to beat the Boss. Read a review today comparing the Boss Laguna Seca and the ZL1 was 2.5 seconds per lap quicker, 10 mph faster on the straight and Probst judged the ZL1 to be in a new class due to technogy and capability.

Time for another car. I decided it should be a Z. A 1.4 Turbo Sonic LTZ.

Sonic Hatch
2LZ
1.4 Turbo
6 Speed Auto
Black
Jet Black / Brick Interior
Sun Roof
Door Sill Plates
Premium Floor Mats
Pedal Covers

We'll do some development work, my wife will drive it and then my soon to be junior in high school daughter will have a very nice car to use as long as she is a straight A student. Great plan, but with production constraints next to impossible to get. Next to impossible for some, but piece of cake for Becky at Rodgers. It should be built in late February and deliver to us in Texas mid-March. My daughter had no idea. I was on the phone with Becky and thought handing the phone to my daughter would be a good idea.

Hello, this is LJ.
Hi LJ this is Becky.
My dad told me to ask you what's going on.
Your dad just ordered a Sonic.
Insert happy dance here.

The ZL1 kicks axx, Becky comes through on the Sonic LTZ, my daughter does a happy dance and it will be another sunny 80 degree winter day in Texas.

Life is good.

You know me, I would rather make my own version and let catch up You know, just like they did with the ZL1 Brembo has brakes for the Sonic. I know where I can get coilovers. Bridgestone RE-11s are a phone call away. Sways would be nice, now where would I get those
