Doesn't anybody remember the concept Mustang? Ford's goin to redo the Mustang to match there previous concept cause Chevy's is very close to what they promised and their horse power will jump up to about the 400 make by 2010 to match the Camaro's. So as for price, weight, & option I beleave it be close come 2010 Mustang vs Camaro specs.

I was really hoping to have some kind of interior color information along with the exterior color choices. Will they initially just offer Black (Ebony) only?

The Mustang has always been about cheep speed. When price falls, so does quality. Plain and simple. When comparing these cars you have to keep that in mind. Everyone who is upset about the potentially high price of the Camaro has to remember that based on what we’ve seen this is definitely not going to be a car of poor quality. Fully independent suspension, nearly 300hp’s worth of a V6, well over 400hp’s worth of a V8, huge wheels brakes and tires, all the standard safety features, and has anyone checked out the lines on this car? This must be expensive to manufacture. I’m not counting on this car to be inexpensive, however check out everything that comes standard. The GT500 doesn’t even have independent rear suspension. Even if the GT500 (which I'd like to add is a $43k plus car) is faster than an SS in the quarter mile, you can bet your ass the Camaro will be faster on the track. Need not compair the GT.

Everyone should just be happy the Camaro won't be as heavy as the Challenger.

I'm not sure what you mean. GM told us the weight of the Camaro, end of story, right?

But the RS trim level (available for both V6 and SS cars) does include HID headlamps with a sassy and BMW-inspired halo of LED lights around the main element, plus dark taillight lenses and 20-inch tires and a little rear spoiler.

theres gunna b HID lights for the ss nd rs!!

Don't tell me its available in Purple and not Navy Blue-Metallic? GM says its 'Imperial Blue-Metallic' Or is that a mix of Purple/Blue?

I'm just going to get 'Cyber' Grey Metallic with Chrome Trim, auto-SS with active fuel management.

Also You know how Chevy has the ZR1 Corvette right?

And like everyone else, I was hoping they would have been pushing the SS instead of the V6.
I think there will be a ZL1 Camaro rather than Z28. This would be more awesome, and I can see it having 600hp; being Chevy wants to keep the Vette #1 at 620 HP for the ZR1.

you know the pictured on the Chevy website are computer generated which makes for inaccurate colors. They use "Imperial Blue Metallic" on other cars like the HHR, cobalt, and impala. look up a real life picture of those cars and you'll see its more like a navy blue then a purple. I thought the same thing at first.

I also hope they have more interior coloring besides the standard issue black, grey, or tan (neutral) that GM is so fond of using. Nothing bright and loud, just a variety to choose from.

To me, GM's exterior colors such as any shade of grey or silver just seem dull. Like the colors the military paints their battleships. It was so nice even up to the 1980's when there 15 - 20 different colors to choose. There'd be 3 or 4 different shades of blue or green. And none at any extra cost!

There is an option for the orange trim I beleive, I think that was talked about in the IDL...Scotty posted pieces of it here and on other boards.....Still trying to find out if there are other two tone options ala the Vette with the LT2 package and above options...Other SS packages have tended to be one color options, and usually black, but those are on less expensive cars like the Cobalt and HHR....

Is this the silver offered??

It's pretty much impossible to judge the real colors from the Chevy site...is this the silver being offered? It looks the same to me or is this wishful thinking?

Edit I found a GM vehicle with silver ice...the H2 see attached
