I would say...

Cooled seats
Painted shark fin
push button start (but it has to be a button, not the one from the corvette. A round button that says "Start")
Dual Zone climate
The grill from Jinx
Cooling ducks for the brakes
Some sort of track package like 1LE or something with stiffer suspension
Smaller rearview mirror
T-Tops (it will never happen but I would love it) I miss that most of all from my '99 Z
Color choice - green
fogs on with halos
DI V8

That is a dream list. I know it can't all happen but these are some things to work towards.

Longer stripes (like the bumblebee stripes)
glossy black stripes
hood scoop (functional)
new colors (at least one or two)
push start
new spoiler

It's a tall order I know but I'd like to see a LS3 Auto Track pack with different gear option, Deeper seat bolsters, LSA/Z28, No DETUNING Please

for sure some more hood options and a green paint option! Maybe some hardcore le mans style stripes to put those challengers to sleep too! The fighter pilot style HUD would be really intense as well! (I think I've seen them in buick rendez-vous and the like)

I would say:

NAV
Backup/rearview Camara
Better Sound system
Cooling seats for Summer
Auto Climate control
Push Start

BTW, I hear NAV was coming out for the 2010 Camaros but wouldn't be available until December 2009. If that's true, do you think it would be possible to get the dealership to add it after you recieve the car? (or for people who already have it?)

Some things I forgot about in my earlier post

On top of the metallic green color, the push button start and a navigation system other than onstar, I would also like to see a functional mail slot on the front of the car, or at least a bumblebee style hood from Transformers 2. I would also like to see the ambient lighting go all the way across the dash. It looks nice on the inside of the doors, but it almost looks unfinished without having it run across the dash. The sunroof is another one I'd like to see corrected. Have it retract into the roof instead of over the top of the roof. Last but not least, the ground effects kit to be painted to match the car AT THE FACTORY. It looks absolutely retarded getting it in that grey color and having it on an orange car or a blue car. AND PLZ GET RID OF THE STUPID SKIP SHIFT FEATURE!!

I have to agree with Snyder here. If NAV becomes available later this year, it should be available as a dealer installed option to the people who already took delivery of their cars.

Motor wise, the Z28 should be a DI twin turbo V6! 480+ HP, if Nissan can do this so can GM.
SS should be a natural aspirated DI V6 with some tweaks 320 -350 HP. Trust me a lighter better handling smaller SS will still kill any Mustang, Challenger, 370z, or STI on the street.
Then lets get creative here; how about a hybrid Camaro! That would keep this car off the Obama cut list for sure.
Finally for the first time owners, new kids and renters, take the turbo 4 banger out of the cobalt and put it in the base model Camaro!
Keep the look of the car the way it is, it look bad ass just needs to be smaller.
I am sorry to say but V8's are not the future for this car and since GM now stands for Government Motors; a V8 in a car is a sure fire way to get it cut from production.
A V8 may be a sure fire way to get it cut from production, but a 4-cyclinder is a sure fire way to get it cut from my wish list.

I'm just particular that way

I don't know where to start!! I think you may have saw fast and furious one too many times. A D.I. LS3 V8 would be close to 500hp while offering better fuel economy, hp, torque and lower cost than a Twin turbo 3.6 D.I. V6. The rest of your post does not even deserve a response.
BTW I would hope to see the LS9 in the camaro before a twin turbo Camaro. You know the same power plant that KICK the Nissan GTR ASS with its nurburgring lap time. Why should GM follow Nissan when GM already beats nissan in performance AND RELIABILITY. The Nissan GTR is a Unreliable POS.
