The "I don't care what engine it has I'm just glad we have a Camaro again " Thread..

Seriously. As much V6 bashing that still goes on by the guys from the good ol' boy club I want to acknowledge those that are just happy to have a Camaro again. You wonder what would happen to them if there were no V8 Camaro at all, well there'd be no "them".

Cheers to many more generations of Camaro to come!

Amen to the price being the most important thing.

But frankly, a 300hp V6 with that sound might as well be a V8. To hell with the whole "A V6 Camaro isn't a real Camaro" crowd.

Long live the Camaro, regardless of what's under the hood!

Just the fact that Camaro is back, and looking as good as ever, is good enough for me

Consider this: The 3.6 V6 in the '10 will probably destroy, both off the line and in the quarter, any 305 or 350 Z28 from the late 70's through the early 90's.

There was a time, not too long ago, when 0-60 in 7 seconds was considered "wicked fast" - and I think most of the Z28's in the 80s were around that.

The 3.6 is supposed to do it in 6.1

Here, here!!!!!

I just posted in another thread about all the complaining, while I am just happy to have the beloved F Body back!!

EDIT: Oops missed the V6 part. I am a V8 fan, but if it only came with a V6, part of the Camaro heritage is chaning your Camaro to suit you! I would put a V8 in mine if there was none from the factory...
