This was in 2011. The car today is no where near what it use to be. 100% stock suspension Stock auto trans 17k miles. At the point, we are talking over 2 years ago now I would take the car on 6 hour trips with no issues. Only a swap to slicks for the track.

Also, gearing plays a big part. No? Last edited by tones2SS; 07-21-2014 at 05:40 PM. Reason: fixed text |

Auto is def faster for 99% of us on the strip. There will also be guys like Ranger..... If the Hellcat is in 6th gear crossing at 5k rpms it'll leave a ton on the table. A gd trans tune would help so much.

Congrats on the 9 second car. That is VERY impressive. Do you have a build thread on here? I would love to read about it. Thanks. |

There's a single turbo Mustang that runs 9's as well. Pretty bad ass. http://youtu.be/3WNbLXkJWNE |

At a starting price of $60,990 (including destination charge) the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat offers one horsepower for every $86.27 dollars. To get more horsepower you'd have to step up to a Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 Anniversary Edition.

Camaro/Hellcat compare. I have a 2010 SS Camaro with 603 rwhp and a m6. I would like to race a m6 challenger hellcat at the 1/4 mile. The hellcat has 450 lbs over the Camaro and 30 more hp than my Camaro, but I have lower gears 391s. I think I would win the race. What do you think?

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the rwhp#s I'm only making low 500rwhp on motor and running 10.90s with traction problems. Hard to judge a car by rwhp at the track.
