10/24/09 - Columbia River Camaro Club Fall Colors Run
Just a reminder for the Fall Colors Run. The CRCC is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 AM on Saturday, October 24th, 2009. The weather is supposed to be dry (or a fair semblance of it), so bring out that old iron for one last day in the sun, or clouds, or whatever we run into.
We are meeting at 2 locations: #1, Jantzen Beach D.O.T. parking lot in Portland at 8:00 am and leave there by 8:40 am, then at McDonalds on US-30/ 3208 NW Yeon st.(also Portland) at approximately 8:50 am, leave by 9:00 AM. Can't hold up the show for stragglers, so please try to be prompt. Then it is up and over the west hills via Germantown road, down hwy 26 to the coast range, cut over through Jewell, with a stop at the elk refuge, on to Olney...finally arriving in Astoria by noon. Lunch in a pub on the river, then a few special activities in Astoria before heading home via US-30/I-5. About 200 miles in all. (lunch reservations for a group of 15 at noon have been made at the Wet Dog cafe). Please RSVP to Maggie at 503-702-8593 so you can be included in the lunch count.

WHAT THE!
You guys were in my neck of the woods and didn't tell me? I'm Hurt. I sat at home all weekend. One of the guys from the fire department said he passed a bunch of camaros on 30 that pulled off at the park at the Bradley Summit. Didn't know anything about it. It would have given me an excuse to drive my car one more time before winter.

Go to the forum and click on the "Forum Tools" dropdown. Select "Subscribe to this forum" and then use the drop down to select how you'd like to be notified. I set mine to a daily digest of each forum and threads I respond, so I can peruse the board via email in a summary format. It makes it much easier to track everything. In all fairness, Maggie only told me about this on Friday afternoon, and we really didn't know if we were going to hook up with them, so that's why I posted it here so people could see it on their own in case we didn't go.

Yeah, I'm subscribed to the NW forum. I just didn't look at it after lunch on Friday, until yesterday. I turned off the email thingy, 'cause it was filling up my email too quick. It's back on.
By the way my new exhaust sounds awesome. It sounds like it is supposed to HEALTHY!
