2013 Camaro SS Nav Unit Pics...
I don't know if anyone has posted pics of the new console/Nav unit.
We got a few 2013 Camaros in and I thought I would snap some pics and post them for you guys to see. Again, I don't know if anyone posted pics, but here they are. It does look pretty good. My only complaint is the lack of a CD player. I love my CDs!!! What do you guys think? Shawn

I guess Chevy had to do something about all the complaints they received regarding the 2010-2012 Camaro interface and the lack of a NAV unit. The Mustang has a NAV option and the Camaro didn't offer it. Like I said my biggest complaint now is that the car doesn't have a CD player. I would have never thought that would happen. I guess technology is evolving. MP3s will never have true sound quality like CDs in my opinion.

If it is anything like the Toyota entune system then it sucks. Have entune in our Tacoma and don't think the cold get me to spend a hundred ollars on it if I had to do over.

The picture shown is not the MyLink2 system with NAV. In the MyLink2 system with NAV the right hand vertical bar the top position will say NAV instead of l>/II.The second position will be DEST and not CONFIG, the third position will be RPT and not TONE, and the final position will be the same (BACK).

Integrate the climate controls into the touchscreen and I will purchase. I pay way to much attention to my Oil Temp and I feel like that left knob is obstructing my view completely.

I have the 2012 GMC Terrain with the touch screen stereo, no navigation....like this one pictured. But on the Terrain, there is a CD Slot way down below the unit. I love to make MP3 CD's so I can leave my music in the car. Sure I can plug in my iPhone, but I do not keep ALL my music on the iPhone, since it is too small.
PS to the O.P.- you can set your quality on MP3's to be damn close to quality of the format that comes on a CD. Now if you want to hear a major difference, find someone with a turn table, LP, and a good set of high end loud speakers and you will never listen to CD's again! The size of the "Soundstage" DOUBLES and the sound is warmer and more natural.......especially with tube amps. But we will have to save that for the Audiofile forums. KIDS TODAY..... "CD Quaility"......  Then again with the crap music that kids listen to today, it doesn't matter. It is monotone, mindless noise with digital drum beats........good lord, whatever happened to intro, verse, chorus, verse, guitar or other solo's, harmony, etc. I can't stand the one beat, mindless lyrics today. It is either about popping a cap, banging' this one or that one, this body part or that argument......no wonder people are getting numb...... Back to my Pink Floyd album.....now that is a guitar.....thank you David Gilmour.  End Rant!
